The Theory
On face value we live in a miraculous world. The beauty and wonder of life and the universe scream a masterful designer, but where is he? In the seeming silence we can't help but wonder if the appearance of design is just an illusion, and we should look for a better explanation for this miracle.
Over the last couple of hundred years we have finally come up with a seemingly coherent argument for how life, the universe, and everything, could have come about from almost nothing, slowly and accidentally improving to become what we perceive around us. The magic ingredient is, that given enough time, anything is possible by chance.
This is gold. Now, no matter how incredibly unbelievable a scenario is, we can say: well it was bound to happen eventually, if we waited long enough.
The Reality
Of course, a missing ingredient is, limits are real. It's like, just because I can learn to jump higher and higher, it doesn't mean I could eventually jump to the moon. There's a hard limit to the possibilities. Limits exist everywhere in mathematics and science, and more time won't make any difference to these.
So ask yourself, is it possible for there to be a case so unlikely that you'd reconsider your assumptions? How unlikely is unlikely enough? If you say nothing can change your mind, are you still allowing observational science to lead you?
This is exactly what is happening in science right now. The more we learn, the more we find that the mechanisms hidden in the microscopic processes of life are significantly more intricate and interdependent than we ever realised. Similarly we find that our expectations of cosmological discovery were mistaken, and what we were certain about yesterday is wrong today, again.
The Problem
The level of faith required to believe that everything made itself, is growing rapidly every day. Does your opinion rest on what "could" have happened, or what is provable?
Here are some examples:
ATP Synthase
Molecular motors exist in organisms that resemble those invented in recent centuries by engineers. Their different and vital components integrate perfectly to provide functionality essential to life. Simpler forms without all the necessary and harmonised pieces wouldn't work.

DNA System
As a programmer, I am very familiar with how a coding system, together with program code and configuration parameters, work together to create desired functionality. A complex program requires a high level of design and coordination to work properly. The information storage system of DNA together with the systems for data retrieval and interpretation are astoundingly well engineered and more complex than systems intelligently designed by humans.

Fine Tuning
As it turns out, the parameters of the laws of physics are absurdly perfect for life to exist in our universe. It is a fact that even bothered renowned evolutionists like Stephen Hawking who could only suggest non-scientific and non-measurable explanations.

The Missing Links
Given how incredible every organism we see today is, there must have been absolutely countless other forms of life that have existed that were in between current species. However the fossil record doesn't demonstrate this idea very well. Occasionally an example will be given as "proof" of a missing link, but these are usually quietly dereferenced when more research is done.

Reused Engineering
Originally the theory of evolution was built on the idea that common features of different species indicated a hierarchy of inheritance. Unfortunately, many examples of common features have since been found that cannot be linked by inheritance. Evolutionists had to invent a new term "convergent evolution" to suggest that the same components could evolve more that once because they were a "good idea". They've also had to recant previous claims about "junk dna" to try a new explanation, but it continues to be very awkward. These examples are completely unsurprising in engineered systems where designers often reuse components from other projects.

Slippery Big Bang
The Big Bang Theory has long been used as argument against a special creation event. However no one seems to notice how much the theory has been altered over its lifetime. Its original form has long since been abandoned even though it was so treasured at the time. In fact every iteration seems to get closer to what the Biblical description said all along. This shows how the Biblical view has nothing to fear from true science and scientific exploration.

Giant First Leap
Scientists have modified a bacteria in an attempt to find the most primitive form of viable life. What they have made still has 473 genes, and they don't know what 149 of them do. To me, this shows how the very first form of life is such a giant leap from non-life that it is impossible to take seriously.
